Heritage for the Future ★ Alessi

Alessi, or Alessy in the English localization, appears in the Capcom game. He was part of the original roster in JoJo's Venture, and is a Weapon Stand user.

Moveset & Gameplay

Alessi is characterized as a comic-relief character (such as Dan from the Street Fighter series) with his ridiculous animations and over the top attacks, but is, in fact, a powerful character. His active Stand possesses incredible range and can be extended even further by holding the Summon button down while calling it out. Its weakness, however: Alessi will not be able to attack aerially with it active since Sethan is a shadow, and cannot leave the ground.

Story Mode

Alessi is an assassin sent by DIO to destroy Jotaro Kujo and his companions. He appears as a typical enemy in the Joestar Group's Story Modes, but is most prominent in Young JoJo's Story, as the cataylst for Joseph's youth.

In Super Story Mode on the PS1 version, Alessi is the 24th Stage and the battle mirrors the one in the manga.

Stage 1
(Polnareff Stage 1)

Alessi is hired by DIO and tasked to eliminate the Joestar Group, he vows to defeat them by any means! Foul or fair! Mirroring the story, his first battle is with Polnareff on the Country Town stage. He pretends to be a random civilian when Polnareff notices him, and activates his ability. After Polnareff is defeated, Alessi declares his superiority.

Stage 2
(Kakyoin Stage 2)

In the next stage, Alessi is confronted by Kakyoin when he finds him standing over an unconscious Polnareff. For the 2nd time, Alessi pretends to be a bystander but Kakyoin already suspects his true nature. Once Kakyoin is defeated, Alessi strikes a pose and delcares 'Fair or Foul'. He heads off to the Small Island to see if Midler succeeded.

Stage 3
(Joseph Joestar Stage 3)

In the third stage, Alessi discovers Midler has been defeated by Joseph Joestar, and basically being right behind him, he is immediately discovered by Joseph and they break out into a brawl. After Joseph is defeated, Avdol comes to the scene and quickly rushes to his aid, however Alessi retreats in classic fashion.

Stage 4
(Muhammad Avdol Stage 4)

In the fourth stage, Muhammad Avdol confronts Alessi on the Remains Stage. Quite antimactically, he is defeated and Alessi heads to Egypt.

Stage 5
(Iggy Stage 5)

In the fifth stage, Alessi's next battle is on the Hotel Stage, he discovers a peculiar dog and recalls that it was the one accompayning Joestar, Iggy! He attacks Iggy with Sethan and their fight begins. After Iggy is defeated, Alessi indulges his sadism and walks off to confront Jotaro, but Iggy retaliates by comically punching Alessi out of the window onto the Cairo streets.

Stage 6
(Jotaro Stage 6)

In the sixth stage, Alessi falls right next to Jotaro, who ponders the bizarre nature of a man falling out of a Hotel window. Alessi unwittingly attempts to pretend he is just normal civilian but Jotaro already suspects him. Alessi unleashes Sethan and congratulates Jotaro for seeing through his act. After Jotaro is defeated, Alessi is excited about claiming his reward from DIO.

Stage 7
(Vanilla Ice Stage 7)

In the seventh stage, Alessi wanders into DIO's mansion and asks Vanilla Ice to see his master. Vanilla Ice delcares that Alessi isn't worthy of DIO's time, and tells him off after taking his reward. Alessi quite offended, decides to murder DIO's underling. After Vanilla Ice's defeat, he rises once again as a vampire but Alessi, not just a 'One hit wonder', launches Ice outside into the Sun.

Stage 8
(DIO Stage 8)

In the final stage, Alessi finally meets with DIO. DIO is prepared to reward him, but Alessi delcares that he wants everything that DIO has and intends to kill him to get it. After DIO is defeated, Alessi stands over him, enjoying his domination. DIO prepares a final blow, but Alessi slices DIO apart with Sethan.

Ending

After defeating DIO, Alessy uses the power of his stand to torture people...

ALESSY: The people of the world have all become helpless children, thanks to my Stand! Children don't need money! That means all the money in the world will be mine! It makes perfect sense, doesn't it?

I Don't Want to Be Young Again
(若がえりは御免 Wakagaeri wa Gomen)

Polnareff senses an enemy following him, but is too slow to react and is temporarily turned into a child by his Stand, Sethan. The enemy, Alessi, gloats about how much he loves to bully little boys. After the fight, Jotaro confronts a wounded Alessi, who manages to turn him into a child. However, even without a Stand, the young Jotaro manages to beat Alessi up; once the ability is lifted, a restored Jotaro and Polnareff waste no time finishing him off.
Secret Factor: You've become a kid agaaaain! (子供になっちまってるウウウ)

Have Alessi turn Polnareff into a child at least once.
